One of the best parts of what I do at Ruby Rides is getting the chance to see what goes on behind the scenes in the automotive world. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Evo Tech for a factory tour, and it was one of those experiences that really reminds you how much craftsmanship and precision goes into the vehicles and components we often take for granted.
From the moment I arrived, the team at Evo Tech were incredibly welcoming. There is always something exciting about stepping into a working factory, the sounds, the movement and the sense that real work is happening everywhere you look.
The tour itself was fascinating. I was taken through the different stages of the production process, from the early design and engineering stages right through to manufacturing and final checks. What stood out immediately was the attention to detail. Every step seemed carefully planned, with teams working together to make sure everything met the highest standards.
It is easy to assume that modern manufacturing is all automated, but what I saw was a great balance between advanced machinery and skilled people. The technology was impressive, but it was clear that the expertise of the engineers and technicians is what really keeps everything running smoothly.
One of the highlights of my visit was seeing how innovation plays such a big role in what Evo Tech does. There is a real focus on improving processes, developing better components and making sure they stay ahead in a fast moving industry.
I even got my RSV41100 kitted out with bobbins, a radiator guard, caliper bolts and lever guards.
For me visits like this are always inspiring. They give a deeper insight appreciation for the people and technology behind the scenes, and they remind me how much effort goes into creating the products and services that keep the automotive world moving.
A big thank you to the Evo Tech team for the warm welcome and for taking the time to show me around. It was a brilliant experience and one I would definitely recommend if you ever get the chance to see their work up close.
